1. D has a standing Friday lunch date at the school cafeteria with Miss M (my standing Friday cafeteria lunch dates are with Miss A). Tonight, we took our girls and Pa to the movies to see The Lost Medallion. It was promoted as a faith-based family adventure movie but our girls were not fans--too violent for their taste. They keep saying "we can't believe you took us to that scary movie!"
2. Today we had a picnic out at Circle B Bar Reserve with all the Johnsons. What a fun time--even with wind blown into our salad and potatoes. And even though we were freezing in the shade and hot in the sun. What crazy weather! The children enjoyed running around and going on the scavenger hunt Aunt Sonja put together and getting up close and personal with nature. And we enjoyed spending time with family!
3. Blowing bubbles off the porch before church on a chilly Sunday morning!
4. Elementary Olympics Week! Today was third grade's day to compete! M's class won first place of out of all the third grade classes.

Tonight we went to a benefit dinner for Idols Aside Ministries, an organization that our good friends Keith and Gretchen are involved with--a great program connecting fatherless and at-risk youth with professional athletes for weekends of spiritual growth and outdoor adventure.

10. We took a family walk around Lake Hollingsworth and fed the ducks along the way!
11. The girls wanted to do some more duck-feeding so they went back after school today!

15. I put Miss M on a church bus this morning and sent her off on her first overnight trip without family! She went on the Powette camping trip with her STARS class (girl's ministry organization). She was so excited and spent all week checking off things on her packing list and getting herself all packed up and organized. I hope she has so much fun!

23. The cousins cane to Florida to spend Spring Break with us! We finally got to meet Baby Auggie! We went to the Silvermoon Drive-In and watched The Croods!

25. Brave Miss M caught a snake outside of Pa's house! Oh my!
26. Legoland with the cousins! Miss A saw a game in the arcade where you throw a ball into a glass and the prize offered was a huge "minion" from the movie Despicable Me. They all watched as several men played the game and the ball bounced out every time. The game seemed rigged. It seemed impossible! But Miss A was certain she could do it. D agreed to let her give it a whirl. And she won!
27. The B family is all about good oral hygiene. M decided Chloe needed her teeth brushed this morning!
28. D and the girls went fishing at the ranch.
