Where Working is a Pleasure

After 13 years with the same law firm, where I worked my way from new law school grad to partner, I was recently approached by a company that I have been a raving fan of for years about an opportunity to join their in-house legal team as a senior attorney. Although, I loved my firm and was not looking to change jobs, the new company made me an offer I just couldn’t refuse. I made the move a few weeks ago and am loving my new position so far! My commute has reduced from 45 minutes each way to 10 (no more battling malfunction junction to get to downtown Tampa), and I'm only 5 minutes away from the girls' school. More family time is a huge perk! And you know I'm gonna love a job that lets me "interview" possible new flavors of ice cream on a site visit to the dairy plant. I'm looking forward to checking out the bakery facility soon! Of course, there are lots and lots of contracts and leases to fill the time between, but I'm really excited about the position and think it's going to be a great fit for us!
