Winter Violin Recital

This is Miss M's third year of Suzuki Violin lessons. Miss A just started taking lessons a few months ago. We had this portrait made before their winter recital last month.

Ahhh. . . they take my breath away!

Our big girls practiced so diligently in the weeks leading up to the recital! They both did so well--we were so proud of them! And I'm sure their great-great grandfather (who was a violinist) was looking down from heaven and beaming with pride, too!

Before the recital, their instructor passed around paper and pencils and gave members of the audience the option of jotting down some notes and positive feedback on each performance. The papers were turned in after the recital and the instructor compiled and typed up each player's feedback and distributed them at their weekly lessons. What a great way to encourage and build confidence in budding little musicians!

Played without need of prompting-nice bow!

My daughter's favorite part of the concert was listening to A play.
