Brava! Very cute. I'll take the coke, but for the life of me, I don't get the fascination with boiled peanuts. It must be an acquired taste.
ReplyDeleteI wish I could jump into my computer and visit your house! The Gershwin sold me! :)
ReplyDelete=) Love it! Makes me want to run to the first roadside produce stand I see and load up!
ReplyDeleteNice singing!!! I want to swing on that porch swing with some lemonade and a good book. It's exactly what I picture when I picture living in the South...so very cool!!!
ReplyDeleteGwennie--they probably are an acquired taste. I've got a pretty adventurous palate anyway, but I've also been eating boiled peanuts since I was little. And I can't think of anything else that tastes quite like them.
ReplyDeleteMj--the stand in the picture is actually on the way to your house! The peanut boiler guy is a hoot! I had my camera in the car from swimming lessons and decided to snap some pictures of his stand--when I walked up to pay for my peanuts, he posed for me to take one of him.
Aubrey and Harmony--you're welcome to stop by if you're ever in our neck of the woods! But I can't promise that our home is always this peaceful or relaxing!
Love it! love the mossy oaks in the background...that little southern belle singing an old favorite of mine and her Greatgrandmother! ahhhh to be blessed with being southern! God is so good! XOXOXO Mamatoo
ReplyDeleteAre green peanuts raw peanuts...meaning uncooked?
ReplyDeletehmmm, I've never had boiled peanuts. We usually have them dry roasted...with a touch of salt.
