A Cruisin' We Will Go!

We booked a Disney Cruise for this fall! It will probably be our last trip as a family of four. The girls are so excited to be going out on the "Mickey Boat" again, and we're looking forward to some low-stress R&R and traveling with our dear friends, the K family, who invited us to join them on our first Disney Cruise a few years ago---and got us hooked! Here are some favorite pictures from cruises past to give you an idea of all the fun we're looking forward to: 2005: Ready to Go! Carriage Tour of Nassau: All the fry-fries you can eat!
Dancing with Daddy:
Pirates IN the Carribbean:
Castaway Cay (Disney's Private Island in the Bahamas):
2007: Boarding Picture:
Evacuation Drill (Little Miss A slept through the whole thing!):
Turn Downs with Chocolate and Towel Animals: Cruising Beauty:
At Ernest Hemingway's House, Key West:
My Good Lookin' Hus-B:
Jeepin' and Beachin' in Grand Cayman:
More Pirates IN the Caribbean:
Deck Parties with Fantastic Fireworks Displays:
Exploring the Mayan Ruins Outside of Cozumel:

  5. Ha, Leah!
The curly is natural. I had the same long, curly 'do since I was about 14 years old and last summer decided it was time to change it up--so I cut it off, lightened it up and straightened it. I've always wanted to be able to run my fingers through my hair without them getting snagged up in the tangles--I mean curls--but it requires me to flat-iron it almost every morning. And use a lot of "product". I expect that at some point the novelty will wear off and I'll go back to my old ways.

  6. You're going to have a blast! How was it taking the kids? Matt and I have cruised solo since the kids were born, but have been apprehensive to bring them along so young. We're thinking next year, maybe.

  7. MJ-
MNB was about 20 months when we first took her and ASB's first cruise was a couple of days after her first birthday. We've never cruised without children or on any line other than Disney, so I wouldn't have those to compare it to, but I will say that Disney definitely knows what they're doing when it comes to family vacations. My biggest tip would be to take along some grandparents or go with another family--Disney's child care and kids programs seem great but I'm a little paranoid in that department--it's great to have some extra eyes and hands to help with the little ones (and we like having someone willing to come hang out in our room once or twice after the girls go to sleep so we can do some of the grown-up, late-night stuff).
