Preschool!

Miss A had her first day at her new preschool this week! Our school just added a new preschool program that she will be attending three mornings a week. She’s been so excited about going to the same school as Miss M and just as excited about being able to wear an “LCS shirt”. Our school doesn’t have uniforms, per se, but does have a dress code that requires all students to wear a school tee or polo shirt. Miss A was so excited about being able to wear an LCS shirt like big sister that she asked to sleep in the one we laid out for her first day. While it might have helped us to get out of the door a few minutes sooner, we convinced her wait until she got up. At about 5 a.m., she came to our room and climbed in bed with us. She got cozy and was starting to drift back to sleep when she realized it was going to be her first day of preschool. Then she got excited and giddy and there was no going back to sleep. She couldn’t wait any longer to put on her school shirt and backpack! We could tell she was feeling 10 feet tall as we made our way across campus to the preschool classrooms.
We found her cubby and backpack hook. Then took a few minutes to explore the activities available within the classroom and burn off some excess energy on the playground.

Why can't they just STAY LITTLE?!?!?!

Finally, Mama and Daddy kissed her goodbye and she joined her teacher to learn about letters, numbers, colors, and JESUS!

  1. I am still planning on Florida! (Unless I feel God calling me to accept a part-time pre-k teacher position with our neighborhood school- just called today, have to decide by tomorrow if I am interested) Otherwise, Florida is still on! and I will talk to my friend, and see what she has planned for us for the week!

  3. Miss A, this is your daddy. Wow k4 already! You are my little supergirl. You believe you can do anything and I agree. I love your hugs, your kisses, and to tickle you like a spider. I hope you enjoy your first year at LCS with your big sis. Most of all I hope you learn how much Jesus loves you. I love you AS. Daddy
