We're at our wits' end.
We thought this was the easy stage. Busy, but (emotionally, at least) easy.
We thought our adoption paperwork was done a month ago. Certified, notarized, photocopied and ready to go.
Seems that with every day that passes, another delay presents itself. Things that should be simple are becoming unnecessarily complicated. All we want is to get on the waitlist!
Ugh!
I am sorry it's so hard.
ReplyDeleteWe know exactly how you feel-we have been on our journey since September and many obstacles later, we hope to be on the wait list next week!! Best wishes!
ReplyDeleteUgh!!! I am just starting the paper chase and it is hard enough, I can't imagine when there are glitches (and I know there will be). They really make you prove that you deserve to adopt a child, don't they :) Harmony
ReplyDeleteHey there! Great blog! We have been on the AGCI wait list since Jan and so far there hasn't been an "easy" part...keeping up with each other in the Ethiopia adoption blog world helps though-

http://www.vinylletterdecor.com/ is where I ordered the lettering. You can spend hours experimenting with font- I don't remember the lettering I ended up with for Addis... Its funny that you mention Farmington- we are going through there tomorrow on our way to Durango, CO for spring break!
ReplyDeleteoh no..more delays? I am so sorry. this process sure has its ups and downs..but so worth it.
ReplyDeleteNo worries Christie, just like labor, when it's all over and you're holding your precious little one, these delays will seem so long ago and behind you. All your thoughts and joys will be right there in your arms. And I truely believe that timing is everything.
ReplyDeleteApril, you are such a precious friend. I know you're right. Can I just get my epidural now?
ReplyDeleteLove You.
C.
Oh Christie you are so funny! Let Mary Nanette and Amelia be your epidural for now! haha And I love the pic of mary nanette!
